August was the first full month of Letters from Momma being an active, every day blog. At the end of July, I set out to increase my readers through interesting posts, fun posts, and a few reviews/giveaways. I feel that I have experienced a lot in G's short 6 month life, and just want to share things I've learned with those who are interested. I also just like to network with other people, as I am staying home with G. But, don't worry, I have real life friends too :-)
Anyways, I wanted to record last month's statistics for any interested companies and for my own records.
According to google analytics -August 18 to August 31- (I didn't start GA until then)
734 visits, 1555 page views, and 445 unique visitors. Almost 60% of visits were new. And people spent, on average, a little over 4 minutes on my site. Most of my traffic comes from referring sites.
According to blogger -August 2 to August 31-
2179 pageviews. Most of my viewers use PCs and firefox, although when all Apple products are combined, they represent almost as much. Most visitors are from the US, but almost 100 were from Canada. I made $25 from Adsense--but will have to wait to cash that out until later.
According to Alexa:
Alexa Traffic Rank: 2,676,122
Traffic Rank in US: 248,695
Sites Linking In: 5 (I feel like I have more than that...but whatever!)
Exciting news in Letters from Momma world: I will be doing a guest post on Catholic Newlywed's blog and will also be featured on The Cloth Diaper Whisperer. I have reviews from Rockin' Green and Tommee Tippee coming up. I've contacted a few other companies, too. My goal for August is to write a piece for Shape of a Mother, about saving our daughters.
Thanks for following Letters from Momma. I'm glad to have you all! Please let me know if there's anything you want to see, or if you have any suggestions.
How exciting! Those are great stats. I'm really looking forward to your guest post too! I read The Cloth Diaper Whisperer - so cool you will be featured. And I just read your post the other day where you mentioned Shape of a Mother, I checked it out and loved it! You are doing such great things.
