This night (Sunday night into Monday, which will appear on next week's sleep log) we gave her Tylenol at bedtime as per my mom's advice to see if it helped G avoid the early night waking (ENW). Instead of the ENW we had the past 2 nights, she slept until almost 5 am... I don't like the idea of giving G Tylenol all the time, but her sleep was on a bbbaaadd downward spiral, and my husband and I were walking zombies too. Nothing worked at her night wakings, nursing would only buy us an hour or two, and she was not hungry at all. And that's just as bad of a habit as medicineevery night and wanting her (and us!) to get sleep.
Last week for us was the same way! She had two teeth pop up the weekend before, but I feel like our issue was a growth spurt with more of a minor teething issue. I only give Tylenol if the crying is a certain pitch. It doesn't seem to affect her sleep very much either way! (so I'm not tempted to make it a habit! Nursing, on the other hand...) Hope this week is better!
