Swap your commercial wipes for some eco-friendly, soft, terry cloth diaper wipes that will last beyond the days in diapers. -- Bummas website
My Review
Bummas Cloth Wipes Sold in sets of 10, in various color combinationsQuality Material. Bummas cloth wipes are made of 100% woven velour terry cotton. These are my favorite feeling wipes that we have tried. They are like a wash cloth you'd find the Queen of England using...they are that luxurious. One side is a soft velour that I like to use for patting G dry, while the other side is more textured terry that is great for cleaning up messy diapers. We've been using Bummas for over a month now and they feel just like they did when I received them. They have not shrunk, and definitely haven't pilled up. If I were making my own cloth wipes, I'd definitely choose the material of Bummas over any other.
Colors. We received The Wild Ones for our review. They are a ten pack of all different color Bummas. Several are white with various colored edge thread, while others are vibrant colors with different colored thread edges. There are five color pack options. Check them all out on the Bummas website.
Size. My only complaint about Bummas is the size, they are a 5x7" rectangle with square edges. While it is definitely a handy size, I have found myself using more than one to get the job done during a "dirty diaper" changing. For simple "wet" diaper changes, I always reach for a Bummas because the size is perfect for wiping on one half, and drying with the other half.
Care. Like all of our other cloth wipes, you can wash Bummas with your diapers. I throw the dirty ones in our diaper pail, and they go through the same routine on wash day. Bummas are made to last beyond G's days in diapers, so our future children will get to experience these durable wipes too.
Use. I cannot stress to you how simple using cloth wipes has become in our household. Even my husband has told friends and family that it's "not nearly as hard as I thought it would be." Use a bit of water, a homemade solution, or a commercial wipe spray with your Bummas to make diaper changes a breeze. We've even used a clean one for post-dinner face/hand washing when all of G's wash cloths were dirty. I have to admit, it was better than her regular ones.
The packaging on Bummas suggests these other great uses:
- "Avert the squirt when changing diapers"
- simply dry baby after cleaning up
- use as burp cloths or "shoulder armor"
- take-along for quick cleanups
- use for nose wipes
- use as bath time cloths
You can purchase Bummas on their website, and from many online or local retailers. Be sure to follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook--you'll also get bonus entries in the giveaway for doing so.

I would love the wild ones
ReplyDeleteMost of the wipes I have seen have been about the same size as a washcloth so size isn't really as much of an issue as is the softness of the cloth.
ReplyDeleteI like "The Calm Ones"
ReplyDeleteI haven't really had much experience with different fabrics or sizes, but it'd love to try some more out to see what I like best!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the The Tropical Ones
ReplyDeletejentam777 at gmail dot com
I think size does matter...something too big doesn`t work as well. And material is very important.
ReplyDeletejentam777 at gmail dot com
Id like the boys ones.
ReplyDeleteSie isnt a big issue for me, but I am currently using organic cotton wipes and love the softness of them
ReplyDeleteI like the wild ones.
ReplyDeletebritibee@gmail.com
Size doesn't matter as long as they're soft.
ReplyDeletebritibee@gmail.com
I'd get The Calm Ones!

ReplyDeletefaithful1104 at gmail dot com
I think I like the longer cloth wipes because they cover more when burping
ReplyDeletefaithful1104 at gmail dot com
I'd choose the Wild Ones - love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI was so disgusted with the poor quality of wipes that are available, I made my own out of soft fabric & serged around the edges. They wash like a dream & are very similar to the Bummas ones.
ReplyDeleteId like The boys !!

I usually only use disposable wipes, have never tried cloth ones!
ReplyDeleteThe wild ones!
ReplyDeleteVashti M
I like my cloth wipes to be about 5-7"
ReplyDeletelove the tropical ones!
ReplyDeleteykatrina at hotmail dot com
I currently use disposables but I want to make the switch!
ReplyDeleteykatrina at hotmail dot com
I'd get the wild ones. I love bright colors
ReplyDeleteI use a ton of different size/matierial/shape wipes, including sposie wipes, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the tropical ones.
ReplyDeletemummytocharis[at]yahoo[dot]com
Surprisingly, more material is not important to me. I actually found that smaller wipes are better at getting poop away since they don't get in the way.
ReplyDeleteI'd get the boy ones. Greens and blues together are so cute!
ReplyDeleteBrittanyleigh723@gmail.com
The boys! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteI like the wild ones
ReplyDeleteI currently only use disposables but I am planning to switch
ReplyDeleteI like the calm ones
ReplyDeleteI've always used disposables but I think size and material are equally important in all wipes.
ReplyDeleteI would choose The Calm Ones. :D
ReplyDeleteI only use disposables, but would like to try the switch to cloth.

ReplyDeleteThe Calm Ones
ReplyDeleteI love the wild ones
ReplyDeletebeth.rees333@gmail.com
I actually don't think size it really a factor for me. The small seem to be better for poop really. The material is more of a factor. Something soft
ReplyDeleteI love The Tropical Ones
ReplyDeleteI really like a good size wipe. I think that as long as they are soft and work well the content isn't to big of a factor.
ReplyDeleteI'd get the calm ones
ReplyDeleteI currently only use disposables, but I've really wanted to try some cloth wipes.
ReplyDeleteI'd get the Boys. Thank you! :-D
ReplyDeleteI would choose the Wild Ones
ReplyDeleteI like really soft wipes. My mom taught me to use cloth wipes that are soft lol
ReplyDeleteI would choose "The Boys" because I love blue and green. However, I don't particularly care for the gender stereotype.
ReplyDeletejesllee(at)live(dot)com
I think size matters, just because I don't want them to be too small and risk getting anything on my hands. However, I currently only use washcloths (not baby ones), so I'd love to try out some soft ones!
ReplyDeletejesllee(at)live(dot)com
I would choose "The Tropical Ones"!
ReplyDeletesneedleali@yahoo dot com
We are still waiting to be blessed with little bums to wipe, so I can't really say which one is more important. I would guess that size is fairly important though.
ReplyDeleteI would choose "The Calm Ones"
ReplyDeletevnsscarv [!at]gmail [!dot]com
Size is more important to me. I love using cloth wipes but I prefer the bigger ones.
ReplyDeletei'd get the boys pack for my boy!
ReplyDeletesarah at realtorsd.com
i am fine with washable or disposable but size is most important, otherwise some messes you have to use two!
ReplyDeletesarah at realtorsd.com
The calm ones
ReplyDeleteAt this time, I currently use disposables
ReplyDeleteThe tropical ones
ReplyDeletethe girls color
ReplyDeletethepryfamily@gmail.com
i think it's better to have larger wipes but i still want them to be soft
ReplyDeletewould love the Calm ones
ReplyDeleteI don't think that the size of the wipes really matter that much. I don't want them to be too bulky or they get in the way. I do want them to have enough texture that they pick up stuff, but not so textured that they upset the little tushie!
ReplyDeleteI would choose the boys.
ReplyDeleteColor isn't important, but we go for natural fibers and preferably organics.
ReplyDeletewild ones

I would choose the "Wild Ones". The colors are so vibrant, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe softness of the material is the most important!
ReplyDeleteI'd get the Tropical ones.
ReplyDeleteSoftness is most important to me.
ReplyDeleteThe Boys
ReplyDeleteI would get the boy ones.
ReplyDeleteI would like heavy duty wipes, thick ones. I plan on using them to cover him up so I don't get peed on as much and have been told you want a heavier cloth!
ReplyDeleteI like the wild ones.

The size needs to be big enough to "do the job", but most important is the thickness and softness of the cloth. it must be gentle.

I would choose The Wild ONes

ReplyDeleteI like the wild ones
laura4him@bellsouth.net
ReplyDeleteto me the material matters most...I prefer flannel or terry cloth
The calm ones
ReplyDeleteI like a combination of size and flexibility (I don't like ones that are too thick or stiff, but they need to be big enough to be useful!)
ReplyDeletei would definitely get the wild ones!
ReplyDeletetamipearson at gmail dot com
i tend to like a thin flannel. size doesnt really matter all that much to me
ReplyDeletetamipearson at gmail dot com
I would love to win The Tropical Ones!
ReplyDeleteI have only used disposable. I am switching to cloth wipes this month and am so excited!
ReplyDeleteI like the Wild Ones
ReplyDeleteWipes need to be big enough that I won't get any poop on my hand. I usually use 8"x8" size.
ReplyDeleteI would choose the calm ones
ReplyDeleteIt does have to be big enough to get all the poop on the wipe then on the hand.
ReplyDeleteI like at least 8 x 8 and my preference is organic cotton fleece
ReplyDeleteI would pick The Boys
ReplyDeleteI'd get The Calm Ones color pack.
ReplyDeleteveganvigilante_bethechange@yahoo.com
I've never used cloth before, but I'd think a larger size would be better. So you can use less wipes.
ReplyDeleteveganvigilante_bethechange@yahoo.com
I like The Calm Ones!! they are awesome colors.
ReplyDeleteI think size would make a differences. I have not used any yet since ours is not here. But I think it will.
I love The Calm Ones!
ReplyDeleteI like the wild ones or the tropical ones. What fun color combos!
ReplyDeleteI'd love the tropical ones!
ReplyDeleteMarysa {at} marysa {dot} com
I only use disposable wipes currently, but we do about half/half with disposable vs. cloth diapers (disposable when we're out/traveling, cloth at home). I'd love to try these!
ReplyDeleteMarysa {at} marysa {dot} com
I would get the calm ones!
ReplyDeletejennifercausby at hotmail dot com
I'd choose the Wild Ones.
ReplyDeleteSize doesn't matter to me as much as how well they work. I have some flannel wipes that don't work very well.
ReplyDeleteI liked the wild, calm, tropical . Like fun colors,
ReplyDeleteElizabethtrotter05@yahoo.com
I currently use disposable. I'm thinking of switching . I think that size doesn't. Matter. But they have to be soft and do the work clean ! Elizabethtrotter05@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletei would get the girls set. house of three little girls so it would fit perfectly :)
ReplyDeletei think size does matter on wipes. i don't want a wipe there's barely the size of my palm because I'll have to use possibly 3-4 just with one poo diaper.
ReplyDeleteI like wipes like bummas because they offer texture to help assist in cleaning the bum. soft wipes that just move around when you try to use them end up being a pain!
I used disposable wipes when we had disposable diapers but the same day we switched to cloth diapers, we broke out the cloth wipes as well

ReplyDeleteI would choose the tropical and i dont care what size it is... Im not picky
ReplyDeleteI would choose The Wild Ones. ngiraldi at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI use cloth wipes at home -- I find that the small ones are only good for wet diaper changes, so a larger size is good for messy changes! As for fabrics, out of what I have, flannel is my favorite. ngiraldi at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI like the Calm Ones!
ReplyDeleteI use cloth wipes occasionally, and size does matter. If they're too small, they crumple in the hand while wiping so they need to cover the hand completely and hang over to be big enough.
ReplyDeleteI would choose the Girls set for my two beauties.
ReplyDeleteI use cloth wipes for wet diapers and disposables for poopy ones. I'm still on the lookout for cloth ones that are large enough to handle messy diapers!
ReplyDeletethe calm ones
ReplyDeleteThe Calm Ones
ReplyDeleteThe boy ones
ReplyDeleteI love my cloth wipes, I like different sizes, I have some really cheap baby wash cloths I use for small messes and kissaluvs or itti bitti for larger messes

ReplyDeleteI'd love the girlie ones!

ReplyDeleteSize does matter but material matters more to me.
ReplyDeleteI would like "the Boys" colors
ReplyDeletecmcosman at yahoo.com
I use both flannel and terry wipes and like both. I think size should be at least roughly 4x5 inches.
ReplyDeletecmcosman at yahoo.com
I love the wild ones thank you!
ReplyDeleteteanster@hotmail.com
I like the Wild Ones pack
ReplyDeleteI don't find size specifically matters in wipes. That is to say, I use a variety of sizes for different sizes of jobs! I use Earths Best Organic disposable wipes when we're out somewhere I don't think I'll have good sink access, but only cloth at home or when going to a friend or family members' place.
ReplyDeleteI would pick the boys!
ReplyDeleteI would say that fabric and quality matter more than size when it comes to cloth wipes!
ReplyDeleteThe wild ones look fun!
ReplyDeleteI like disposable sized wipes. I currently have two types, terry cloth and flannel. I like the flannel better, but the terry cloth ones work just fine. I guess the size is more important to me.
ReplyDeleteI like the tropical ones!
ReplyDeleteI love the Wild Ones, the colors are so great - nice and bright!
ReplyDeletewell, I don't want wipes that are microscopic, but fabric is more important. That is NOT where you want a scratchy material :)

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking The Wild Ones. : )
ReplyDeleteI cut up a flannel receiving blanket two days ago to use as wipes and I love them! Definitely material is most important to me. : )

Since i am the mom to 5 boys, I would have to say the Boys!
ReplyDeleteandrea_hockeygirl@hotmail.com
I use a mixture of disposables and cloth, depending on if we are home and what kind of mess is waiting for me in the diaper lol
ReplyDeleteandrea_hockeygirl@hotmail.com
the clam ones
ReplyDeleteI like large wipes, the material needs to wash well without build up issues or staining issues.
ReplyDeletelove the calm ones!

i am currently doing disposables but am about to change over to cloth, and very excited to do so
ReplyDeletechristinejessamine at hotmail
I would choose the boys colors!
ReplyDeleteI like the wipes to be big enough that they cover my hand while I'm wiping my son, to avoid getting any poop on my hands. Otherwise, that's it. Fabric doesn't really matter as long as it is soft against my son's skin!
ReplyDeleteI like the Calm Ones
ReplyDeleteI currently only use disposibles

I would choose "The Calm Ones". :)
ReplyDeleteBigger would be better when it comes to cloth wipes. The ones I made are about 8"x8". I've heard that is about the standard size. & While I made mine flannel/flannel I've heard wonderful things about terry cloth wipes too.
ReplyDeleteI like the calm ones!
ReplyDeleteI would get the Calm Ones.
ReplyDeleteWe mostly use disposables wipes, but I did cut up a couple of receiving blankets to make homemade wipes.
ReplyDeleteI would like the tropical ones
ReplyDeleteI'd get the wild ones
ReplyDeleteI currently use disposable but I did use cloth during their first week. I guess size does matter, the bigger the wipe, the bigger the mess it can clean.
ReplyDeleteI like The Tropical Ones! ~Nicole R.
ReplyDeleteSize doesn't matter to me as much as the material. Nice and soft & thick enough to get the job done! ~Nicole R.

Size matters and so does material! I have two in diapers, and I use a TON of cloth wipes so I had to buy the go green wipes and they are so cheap and small. I would LOVE to have larger ones!

i currently use disposables until i run out, i need to get some cloth wipes
ReplyDeletegabby c.
I like the tropical ones!
ReplyDeleteSize of wipes doesn't really matter to me, but I prefer flannel and micro fleece over terry-so much softer!
ReplyDeleteI love the tropical ones!
ReplyDeleteMy little one isn't here yet, so I haven't tried cloth wipes. My husband is hesitant, but I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteI'm torn, wild ones, girls, or tropical, maybe calm. I'm indecisive, they are all so cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't necessarily care about the size of the wipes, but I like the thicker ones better. Itti bitti's are my fav's!
ReplyDeleteI'd get the Wild Ones! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletemaria.the.uncommon at gmail dot com
I am definitely more concerned with size over fabric material! I'm not too particular about what the fabric is. :-P I find that I need about a 7x7 square to get the job done right, but I think the Bummas would be perfect for drying!
