This week's meal plan is brought to you by my Taste of Home cook book. I had little to no inspiration while making my grocery list. The recipes are also on their website, so I've linked to them for you.
I spent about $20 over budget to buy a big pork loin on sale for $1.89/lb, and got almost 10 lbs. I had them cut it into a roast (which I further split into 2), and 1/2" chops (of which I got 13). It tastes great and was an awesome price!
Monday: Leftover stuffed pork loin roast (I used pepper jack cheese and pepperoni--it turned out great!)
Tuesday: Homemade Sloppy Joes, as per my husband's request
Wednesday: leftovers
Thursday: Chicken Fajitas or my mom's beef stroganoff, I haven't decided
source: Taste of Home |
Saturday: Chicken Cacciatore
Sunday: Leftovers
Thanks for checking out what we'll be eating this week!

Sounds yummy! Happy Monday. : -)
ReplyDeleteMy hubby always requests sloppy joes too! We do ours in the crockpot and it's definitely a family fave. That Chicken Cacciatore looks fabulous. We may just have to try that one too!
