Our recent acquisitions

I've been scouring craigslist lately, and we went to some good garage sales this weekend. I just had to share what we've recently acquired.

Free. Day Bed frame. Mostly to use in our new home's office. It's in good condition and is sturdy. (value, around $200)

 $10. Two end tables and one coffee table. All solid wood and in good condition, but do need sanding and staining to make them look classy again. (value, close to $400)

$10. Drexel Heritage dresser that I'm going to use a buffet in our new dining room. It is in great condition, but a sand and stain will help it look brand new. (value, at least $500, if not more)

$1. Computer Desk with cd rack (not necessary these days) and sliding key board tray. Sorry for quality of picture of it. (value, around $100)

$2. Thomas the Train Engine Playhut Tent and Lincoln Logs set. (value, $60+)

$1.5. Six various kids books, including Caps for Sale (one of my old favorites) and Ten Black Dots (G's latest favorite). (value, $35+)

$3. A BIG story time size book and Melissa and Doug ABC floor puzzle. (value, $30)

$1. Old Navy size 3t super cute brown dress jacket for next fall (value, $20)

$5. Step 2 brand pink, blue, white kid's car (like Cozy Coupe) (value, $60)

Total spent $33.5 (value, $1405)

Are you SUPER impressed or what!!!?? We were really happy yesterday :-)

Though we will need to spend money to buy a palm sander and stain / etc...so our "profits" will be a bit smaller, we still feel like we made out like bandits.
