Progresso "Souper You" Contest & Giveaway

When I was in college, I had a job at a collection agency (hey, it was a good job and I was nice...thank you very much). My hours were usually 4 - 9 pm, so I ate dinner at my computer station. I often brought a can of soup, and it was almost always Progresso brand. I love the Chicken and Wild Rice variety. I know this is probably weird, but I would take like 30 minutes to savor it. I think it tastes really yummy, and the whole can is only 200 calories!

The other day I was getting my and the baby's lunches ready, when we heard a knock on the door. It was the delivery man with a package of Progresso soups and a Biggest Loser workout DVD. I was really excited to find that within the 5 varieties I was sent, Chicken and Wild rice was included! My lunch plans instantly changed. I made my soup and a cheese sandwich. It definitely hit the spot on a blustery January day. I even shared some of the carrots from the soup with baby G, who loved them!

Speaking of January....how are your New Years Resolutions going? I'm already falling behind on mine, but thankfully mine aren't to lose weight ;-) I really just want to maintain my current weight.

Progresso offers 40 soup varieties with 100 calories or less per serving; so you can enjoy many flavors of soup while keeping up with your weight management plan. Progresso soups all have hearty ingredients like pasta, beans, rice, meat and vegetables that taste delicious. They make me feel good about including them in our meal rotation. I used the Light Beef Pot Roast soup as a compliment to our baked potato bar night this past week. My husband even liked it, and he's not a big soup person. He said, "It's really good...for being from a can, it's especially good!" He was saying that my homemade soup is better...but Progresso soups are about as close as you can get to the real thing!

I'm sure you've seen Progresso in the soup aisle at the grocery store, and I bet you'll love all the varieties they offer. Check out the giveaway below that includes a Biggest Loser workout DVD to help you keep up with your fitness goals.

Progresso is also holding their Souper You Contest again this year. The Souper You contest gives three lucky winners an ultimate makeover trip to Hollywood.
