My 'fancy' Banana Bread

Rich Banana Bread
adapted from Taste of Home

I need to get a fancy camera so I can take food glamour shots!

3/4 c softened butter
8 oz softened cream cheese
1.5 c sugar
.5 c brown sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas (ripe)
1 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1  c chopped pecans

Cream the butter, cream cheese, sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Beat in the banana and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Fold in pecans.

Grease two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until a toothpick comes out clean.

We eat this for breakfast, warmed up with some butter...it's like dessert for breakfast!

Variations:
You can add some more pecans on top for a crunchy topping.
You can also add a powder sugar glaze to make it delish!
Add some mashed apples and/or carrots to make ABC bread! (Just add less bananas)
